In the World Cup Grand Prix dressage presented by
VriendenLoterij the dressage queen Isabell Werth came, saw and conquered with
the 15-year-old black mare Weihegold OLD (f. Blue Hors Don Schufro) at Jumping
Amsterdam. Werth is the boss of the strong competition and rode the Oldenburger
to a score of 83.565%. Charlotte Dujardin was really close to Werths with the
11-year-old Hanoverian Mount St John Freestyle (f. Fidermark), but her score of
81.957% was not enough for the victory. Emmelie Scholtens completed the podium
and defeated among others Jessica von Bredow-Werndl and Helen Langehanenberg.
Scholtens’ class with Desperado N.O.P. was rated 77.870%. 

Very satisfied

Werth: ”My class went very well and I am very satisfied,
because the class was clear. She was very motivated. At the beginning the mare
was a bit fresh, so I had to be careful. She showed a good passage, piaff and
pirouettes”.

Honest and focused mare

“Weihegold is an honest and focused mare. What the
horse has already accomplished in his life is unbelievable. It started with the
young horses and then followed the Bundeschampionat, the Louisdor Preis and the
Grand Prix. She has already won a lot and remains motivated and enjoys her
work,” says Werth.

Comfortable position

”I’m lucky to have several Grand Prix horses at my
disposal. I am very happy to have several horses running at the highest level.
This is a very comfortable position.”

“The public’s mood is great.

The competition Jumping Amsterdam is great and super for the
horses. The mood of the public is great. I give a compliment to the
organization for the beautiful event.”
